Player information
Privacy Policy
Effective July 25, 2026
Poker Snake can be played without an account. This policy explains what information is handled when you play anonymously, choose Google sign-in, submit a score, or contact us.
Information we handle
- Local game information. Tutorial status, language, settings, active gameplay, and personal records may be stored in your browser or device. Active games are not resumed from another device.
- Account information. If you sign in with Google, Google and Supabase provide and store an account identifier, email address, and basic profile information made available through the sign-in consent screen. We do not receive your Google password.
- Gameplay and leaderboard information. We may store your chosen display name, completed runs, hand scores, total scores, run seed, game version, and command history needed to verify leaderboard results.
- Technical information. Our hosting and database providers may process IP address, browser or device details, request timestamps, and security or error logs when you use the service.
- Support messages. If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message.
How we use information
We use information to provide sign-in, maintain accounts and settings, verify scores, operate public leaderboards, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, protect the service, respond to support requests, and improve Poker Snake.
Public information
If you submit a verified score, your profile display name, score, hand or run details, rank, and completion date may appear publicly. Your email address, Google account identifier, and command history are not displayed on public leaderboards.
Service providers and sharing
Poker Snake relies on Google for sign-in, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Vercel for hosting and server functions. These providers process information according to their own policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect players, the service, or the public.
Vercel Web Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits. It may process the page URL, referrer, approximate country or region, browser, operating system, device category, and timestamp without third-party analytics cookies. This traffic information is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We do not sell personal information. Poker Snake currently does not use advertising or behavioral marketing.
Storage and security
Account and verified gameplay information may be stored by Supabase. Authentication sessions and local game information may be stored on your device. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and gameplay information while it is needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal and security obligations. You can clear local game information through your browser controls. To request deletion of your Poker Snake account and associated personal information, email brenbrus@gmail.com.
Your choices
You may play without signing in, decline Google sign-in, sign out, revoke Poker Snake access through your Google account, or request account deletion. Global leaderboard participation requires sign-in because submitted scores must be connected to a verified account.
Children
Poker Snake is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this policy as Poker Snake changes. The effective date above will be updated, and material player-facing changes will be described in the game.
Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to brenbrus@gmail.com.
Poker Snake requests only the Google profile information needed to identify and authenticate your account. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendars, or other unrelated Google services.
